STEREOTEC (booth C7940) will show its bestselling 3D rig – the Lightweight Rig Premium – for the first time at NAB with complete 11 axes motorization driven by a Chrosziel Aladin Control System – the rig is supported by a Live Automatic Alignment Solution that makes 3D recording easy and cost effective by keeping the highest level of quality at the same time. STEREOTEC will show the Lightweight Rig in a handheld configuration with two ARRI Alexa M and ARRI Alura Zooms.
Besides the Lightweight Rig, STEREOTEC will show the smallest 3D Mirror rig available: The Nano Rig with two Cunima Nano.

Florian Maier, lead stereographer from STEREOTEC and his 3D team recently won three 3D CREATIVE ARTS AWARDS by the Europe Committee of the International 3D Society (I3DS Europe Committee) for outstanding 3D achievements in the categories Ad/Commercial (VW – The Beetle „Flower Power“), Live Action and best Live Action Stereography (Wickie and the Treasure of the Gods).

Stereotec was awarded for „Best 3D Feature“ at Dimension 3 in Paris last week. Stereographer Florian Maier received the Dimmy Award for „Wickie and the Treasure of the Gods“, Germanys first 3D feature film. The beloved and sucessful 3D movie was shot on ARRI Alexa with two Mid Size Rigs from Stereotec and with the Stereotec 3D Crew.
